-Day-to-day leadership and support for direct reports.-Perform monthly one-on-ones with staff.-Screening and interviewing for open positions within the team.-Develop operating procedures and work instructions for my team, train and coach staff on the procedures and work instructions.-Work with cross functional teams to help support and implement efficiencies in processes.-Coordinate and organize purchasing and inventory management.-Ensures purchasing procedures are followed for technical requirements, standards and approve orders before they are sent externally.-Work with production for scheduling and prioritization of work orders.-Supplier evaluation and selection for goods, services and equipment.-Risk management, identifying and analyzing the pros and cons while consulting all disciplines before proceeding forward.-Materials management, inventory control, cycle count and reconciliation activities.-Manage excess or obsolete material and determine best method for disposition.-Manage annual inventory audits conducted by outside firms.-Negotiate with key suppliers and work with them for optimal quality, delivery performance and cost reductions.-Load new demand plans and see through to the execution.-Manage critical schedules for new products and work with cross functional teams on new requirements and timelines.-Work with Quality Team on supplier performance concerns and disposition of rejected materials.-Manage builds and schedules with Contract Manufacturers to mitigate any delays to production schedule.

-Generate monthly build plans for Contract Manufacturers for two plants. -Generate build plans for OEM vendors. -Manage inventory to ensure correct levels are available for sales forecast. -Plan, create and schedule work orders to have product configured into finished goods inventory at distribution centre. -Manage distribution facility to ensure work orders are completed on schedule to meet customer shipments. -Manage distribution facility to ensure inventory is kept accurate, daily cycle counts. -Coordinate with distribution facility the set-up of new test equipment for new products. -Work with distribution facility to ensure any engineering change orders are implemented and any stop shipments/stop builds are in place.Use business tools such as SAP, Rapid Response, Agile and Sharepoint on daily basis.

-Manage contract manufacture (CM)-Ensure CM is executing material buys to approved and contracted vendors.-Ensure on time delivery to build plans-Assist cross functional teams with any issues that arise with CM-Review pricing, test times, material cost-Manage shortages for builds Use of business tools such as Great Plains, Agile and Rapid Response on daily basis to execute orders to build plans, ensure any engineering change notices were implemented and product being built to correct revision.

-Process and maintain purchase orders for various cross-functional teams-Expediting and rescheduling orders-Assist cross-functional teams in any issues with purchase orders, receipts and or invoicing-Coordinate the review of legal documents-Purchasing of capital assets, expenses, hardware, software and IT equipmentUse of business tools such as Intuitive, Great Plains and Agile on daily basis.

-Enter supplier purchase orders. -Manage inventory to ensure purchasing accurate quantities to get price breaks but not over inflate inventory levels. -Manage customer orders to ensure shipments were being made to commit date. -Generate customer invoices.
