I enjoyed my adventures teaching private piano lessons to children and adults. I was able to develop lesson plans geared to individual students’ preferences and abilities. And had a ball doing so. No two students are alike.During my time teaching with a local studio I was able to provide training and mentoring to the new teachers on an ongoing basis. And helping them to develp their individual teaching styles.Open and honest communication with students as well as parents… Show more I enjoyed my adventures teaching private piano lessons to children and adults. We exercised practice insentives and initiatives to encourage the development of each students learning.I organized recitals and examinations which I felt was also important for developing preformance and presentation skills. All students were encouraged to prepare for examination and paricipate in community recitals. Regular, ongoing marketing in the local community was important to attract new students to grow and develop the studio. Show less
