As a Public Affairs Officer, I provide a range of professional communications expertise and services on behalf of the Ministry of Energy, Mines and Petroleum Resources, including development and implementation of strategic communications plans; preparation a variety of written communications products; issues management; event support and liaison with Minister’s Office staff.

The Regional Transit Manager (RTM) works in a complex, alternative service delivery model, as part of BC Transit’s Regional Transit team. The RTM works with Senior RTMs to provide a central liaison role between municipalities, operating companies and the various departments of BC Transit to ensure that transit programs operate in an efficient and effective manner.

BC Transit coordinates the delivery of safe, reliable, cost-efficient and market-focused transit services in BC outside of the Greater Vancouver region. Working in partnership with local governments and private companies, BC Transit staff provide direct services in fleet acquisition and management, contract administration, transit planning, marketing and financial services for transit systems. BC Transit is a provincial crown corporation.Initiates, develops, implements and evaluates effective marketing and communication plans to provide effective promotion and public relations for BC Transit and its municipal partner in alignment with corporate goals and objectives ·Identifies alternative marketing approaches ·Plans and delivers specific marketing programs and initiatives such as special events, advertising campaigns, co-promotions, school presentations ·Plans communication strategies and develops related materials in support of specific issues or announcements ·Directs the work of communications and marketing contractorsNamed 'BC Transit Most Innovative Employee' 2015-16

Oversee the completion and execution of the annual Marketing plan as well as facilitate numerous events and campaigns. I also manage the Guest Services desk, located on the lower level of The Bay Centre

We founded SNAP Victoria in April of 2008 and I oversaw the editorial content of the monthly paper and managed the photographers and the distribution team.
