This work also included analysis of needs, design & delivery at multiple organization levels of both talent programs and technical training requirements. Global functions covered by this role were Finance, Legal, Compliance, HR, Corporate Affairs, Corporate Real Estate, Group Strategy, Global Research. I achieved these goals through effective team management of 6 full time staff and 8 offshore staff.I was also an active member of two internal committees - the Global Talent & Learning Management team and the Process Governance Committees which were responsible for driving change, enabling transformation and executing on the bank-wide people development strategy. -
Global Head, Learning & Talent Development, RiskStandard Chartered Bank Sep 2009 - Aug 2011SingaporeI worked directly with the Chief Risk Officer and his Functional Executive team to create and deliver a people development strategy for the Risk function of 7000 people that met growth needs from the executive committee down to more junior levels. Senior role capability analysis and subsequent development programs were a key part of this strategy. The work also included building risk capability across other bank functions, through partnering with business HR and multiple Risk Management committees. In a highly regulated environment this technical skill building is a critical requirement. I was able to deliver on all of these goals through effective team management of 12 full time staff, 6 offshore staff and a global external faculty.In addition I was on the Global Talent & Learning Management Committee which was responsible for driving change, enabling transformation and executing on the bank-wide people development. strategy. -
