Provide program oversight, management, community outreach and research for various research initiatives in the Milken Institute School of Public Health and Health Services and the Graduate School of Education and Human Development. Topics include small business engagement in community health, cybersecurity and autism workforce initiatives.

Served on senior management team responsible for strategic planning. Facilitated new academic initiatives, such as the launch of the School of Nursing at the Virginia Science and Technology Campus; a master degree program in teacher preparation, secondary education; and a pharmacogenomics program in conjunction with GWs School of Medicine and Health Sciences and Shenandoah University’s School of Pharmacy. Developed corporate partnerships and consulted on large impact grants to support key academic and research areas, including the Autism and Neurodevelopmental Disorders Initiative (ANDI), health science corporate advisory board, cybersecurity, and data analytics. Served on various commissions and committees related to economic development, education and workforce development. Created and directed STEM education and professional development activities, including the annual Science, Technology & Engineering Day and GW Teachers in Industry Project in partnership with Loudoun County Public Schools. Served as a community connection for Northern Virginia region with corporate, academic, and non-profit partners. Participated, led, and supported academic facilities build-out and establishment of student services. Served as campus liaison and host for prospective donors and state and federal officials. Represented the VSTC campus and dean at various speaking engagements, panels, and conferences, including NAIOP, NVTC, Loudoun Chamber, US Chamber, and targeted workforce events hosted by the Office of the Governor of Virginia.

Responsible for administration and oversight of academic, professional development, legal, and personnel issues for 680 full-time and 2,000 limited service and part-time faculty in School of Medicine and Health Sciences and School of Public Health and Health Services. Coordinated and monitored faculty recruitment activities to ensure compliance with federal EEO regulations, affirmative action programs, and budget guidelines. Managed generation and administration of faculty employment and academic contracts. Served on Banner implementation and testing team. Oversaw administration of faculty payroll records. Provided advice and counsel to faculty and senior administration on personal, professional, and employment issues. Coordinated faculty development opportunities addressing issues including scholarship, teaching, team building, and stress management. Provided administrative management to medical center senate committees on appointments, promotion, and tenure. Developed and administered operating budgets for office of medical center faculty affairs and for recruitment of faculty and chairs. Designed, developed, and maintained faculty database containing demographic, academic, and contractual information. Led core membership services programs for 5,000-member professional association with 47 state and city-based chapters. Supported member services council in development of new chapters, membership policies, and education and marketing materials. Planned and designed seminars and special event topics for 1994 convention supported by 17 Fortune 500 companies. Worked with executive director on public policy issues, public relations, and events. Served as association meeting planner for national events, including supervision of logistics and registration.
