Adviser On Sessional Gps And Retainers For Health Education North East (Previously Northern Deanery)Northern Deanery Sep 2003 - Sep 2015I manage the retainer scheme.I work to improve access to education for Sessional GPs and to support them in connection with meetings requirements of appraisal, revalidation and returning from career breaks. I have participated in a RCGP funded research project pilotting the feasibility of revalidation proposals for sessional GPs. I have also carried out research funded by the Royal benevolent fund which was published as a report titled "support for sessional GPs".
