As a Project Manager, I manage agile Salesforce implementation projects. I'm involved in projects from the beginning of the discovery phase through implementation to launch, and I serve as the primary point of contact for our clients. I keep a team of developers organized and on track, and work with a technical architect to make sure what we build serves our clients' missions.

North Cascades Institute inspires environmental stewardship through transformative learning experiences in nature. Since 1986, the Institute has helped connect people, nature and community through the hands-on study of the natural and cultural history of the Pacific Northwest.As the Development Coordinator it was my responsibility to support development and fundraising activities to build capacity for North Cascades Institute’s mission and programs. Provide high level administrative and logistical support for all development activities, including prospect identification and tracking, donor cultivation, fund acquisition, planned giving, major gifts, campaigns and events. Support the Development and Marketing Director, Executive Director and Board of Directors and everyone involved in fundraising efforts. And as the Database Administrator it was my responsibility to manage the Institute's database (Salesforce). This included providing training and support for all staff and departments, as well as building and maintaining solutions to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of all database operations to optimally support our mission, programs and activities.

Foundation

The Whatcom Community College Foundation is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization that champions the needs of students and the initiatives of Whatcom Community College. Through its generous donors, the Foundation is committed to providing educational opportunities for all students, regardless of their financial resources, and to supporting Whatcom's high-quality programs, as well as the College's outstanding faculty.As the Resource Development Manager, I worked with the Executive Director of College Advancement and Foundation, and the Foundation Board of Directors in planning and implementing the Annual Campaign, and other fundraising programs such as the President's Circle, Employee Giving, and the Friends and Alumni program. I implemented, oversaw and managed the Annual Campaign to ensure fundraising goals were met, while increasing awareness of WCC and WCCF in the community.

As the Program Specialist for the Office of Advancement & Foundation I directly served the Executive Director for College Advancement and the Foundation, provided support to the WCC Foundation Board of Directors, and assisted and coordinated with other advancement department staff to implement all programs and projects of the WCC Foundation.

The Whatcom Community Foundation is a public charitable organization created to enrich the quality of life for all residents of Whatcom County, Washington. Both a grantmaker and a vehicle for donors to accomplish their philanthropic dreams. The Whatcom Community Foundation enhances philanthropy to strengthen Whatcom County by linking people who care with causes that matter.As the Special Projects Assistant I assisted the Foundation staff wherever needed most.

Mother Baby Center’s mission was to be Whatcom County’s highest quality provider of health, education and support services for pregnant and postpartum women, their babies and their families.During my time with Mother Baby Center, I served as the Store & Resource Center Coordinator, the Scheduler, the Office Manager, and the General Manager. These roles provided a variety of experiences and responsibilities.

Manpower is a world leader in employment services, creating and delivering services that enable job seekers and employers to win in the changing world of work. They offer a range of services, including permanent, temporary and temporary-to-permanent placement; employee assessment and selection; training; and consulting.As a Staffing Specialist I provided professional human resource management services to 30 local companies, working both on and off-site as needed. This included managing over 900 employees with skills, knowledge and abilities varying from general labor to executive level administration support.

Garden Botanika was a retail boutique chain for pure, botanically derived cosmetic products. While working for Garden Botanika I managed both the Bellis Fair and Southcenter Mall retail stores, assisted with regional training and participated in the Director in Training program.
