I am a novelist and screen- writer shuttling between Kolkata and Shillong. I have worked as a radio artist, copywriter, journalist and a television analyst at various stages of life, having been associated with AIR Shillong, The Times of India—GuwahatiShillong Plus, ETV Bangla, The Shillong Times, Akash Bangla and Sony Aath.I've written the screenplays of national award winning films - Ri- Homeland of Uncertainty and Onaatah-of the earth and also the recently filmed Iewduh- Live Your Story which is in post production stage. I have a handmade jewelry start up- House of Musafir.As an author, my short stories have appeared in variousanthologies and literary magazines. A Thousand Unspoken Words is my fourth novel. I also write on politics, social issues and cinema. My articles have appeared in Swarajya, The Forthright and NElive. I write columns for The Frustrated IndianI am is associated with cinema and my first film, Ri- Homeland of Uncertainty received the National Award for the Best Khasi Film at the 61st National Film Awards. My second film Onaatah—Of the Earth will release middle of this year. I am is currently working on my third screenplay. A short film tentatively titled ‘Patjhar’ isalso in the pipeline.
