As an elected President of the Kappa Sigma Fraternity at California State University San Marcos I was able to represent and lead a fraternity of roughly 60 men for roughly one year. I was able to utilize my skills in leadership, teamwork, communication, delegation, representation and legal writing to improve many different fraternity processes and bylaws. I improved upon these fraternal processes and bylaws within the fraternity which guaranteed the success and safety for current and future members of the fraternity Here are some of the things I learned about, improved on and completed during this time:- 330+ hours of community service- $300+ donated to philanthropic events or organizations- $500 donated to the Endowment Fund (fraternal fund that provides scholarships to undergraduates)- Spent time overseeing and utilizing a budget of roughly $20,000- Raised over $10,500 as a fraternity that was donated to the Military Heroes Foundation- Spent time overseeing one of the biggest recruitment weeks the fraternity had ever seen- Spent time overseeing 4 other Executive Committee officers- Spent time overseeing roughly 20 chairmen through the 4 other Executive Committee officers- Spent time overseeing and running weekly chapter meetings- Spent time overseeing and running weekly Executive Committee meetings- Spent time overseeing and running weekly chair meetings- Spent time organizing and overseeing a 3 day conference at the University of Nevada Reno- Attended a conference that welcomed over 10,000 undergraduates in New Orleans, Louisiana - Attended weekly chapter meetings- Attended multiple President trainings- Held multiple Executive Committee trainings- Leadership- Marketing- Management Information Systems- Collaboration- Representation- Delegation

As an elected Vice President in the Kappa Sigma Fraternity at California State University San Marcos I was able to represent and lead a fraternity of roughly 60 men for one year. As an elected Recruitment Officer in the Kappa Sigma Fraternity at California State University San Marcos I was able to represent and grow the fraternity for one year. I was able to utilize my skills in recruitment and communication to improve the fraternity membership size post-covid. I improved upon the recruitment processes within the fraternity which led to the fraternity tripling in size in less than one year.Here are some of the things I learned about, improved on and completed during this time:- 330+ hours of community service- $300+ donated to philanthropic events or organizations- Raised over $15,000 as a fraternity that was donated to the Military Heroes Foundation- Organized, ran, and spent time overseeing two of the biggest recruitment weeks since 2018- Organized, ran and spent time overseeing roughly 30 recruitment events between both semesters- Set a fall recruitment record- Attended a conference at the University of California Riverside- Attended weekly chapter meetings- Attended multiple recruitment trainings- Held weekly recruitment meetings- Held multiple recruitment trainings- Leadership- Marketing- Management Information Systems- Collaboration- Representation

As an elected Recruitment Officer in the Interfraternity Council at California State University San Marcos I was able to represent 4 fraternities with about 100 members overall for one year. I was able to utilize my skills in recruitment and communication to improve the fraternity membership sizes post-covid. I improved upon the recruitment processes within the 4 fraternities which led to all of these fraternities roughly doubling in size.Here are some of the things I learned about, improved on and completed during this time:- Organized, ran, and spent time overseeing two of the biggest recruitment weeks since 2018- Spent time overseeing roughly 38 recruitment events throughout both semesters- Weekly meetings- Management Information Systems- Public speaking- Time Management - Professionalism - Collaboration - Representation - Delegation- Recruiting

As a Retail Sales Associate with Shoe Palace I was able to learn and develop many of my skills that are necessary in both sales and professional environmentsHere are some of the things I learned about, improved on and completed during this time:- Management Information Systems- Customer service- Marketing/Advertising - Inventory management- Product placement - Theft prevention

As a Fire Explorer with Riverside City Fire Department I was able to learn about the skills and knowledge necessary for a successful fire academy and fire career. This position allowed me to successfully complete a mock fire academy, graduating at the top of my class. This mock fire academy included many physical and written tests which I excelled in.Here are some of the things I learned about, improved on and completed during this time:- 300+ hours of community service- 10+ shifts completed as a ride along- Mock fire academy- Candidate Physical Ability Test (CPAT)- Weekly trainings and meetings- Urban Search and Rescue (USAR)- Heavy Animal Rescue Team (HART)- Knowledge of fire apparatus- Forced Entry- Basic Life Support (BLS)- First Aid- Professionalism- Perseverance
