I head up the digital data collection and investigations side of the Forensic Technology team at BDO UK. Our capabilities and expertise include in-depth data investigations (including the recovery of deleted data), data scoping, extraction of electronic data and the preparation of that data for review (online or offline). I also undertake Expert Witness work; covering a range of subjects including IP theft, fraud, email authentication and digital document analysis. I have over 30 years investigation experience including forensic IT services and solutions to support criminal and civil investigations. These have ranged from Criminal and Civil Search Orders on single owner occupied residences to data collections and investigations into multinational corporations covering multiple jurisdictions. My qualifications include MSc in Forensic Computing, Fellowship of the British Computer Society (FBCS), Certified Novell Engineer (CNE), Chartered (IT) Professional (C(IT)P), Accredited Counter Fraud Technician (ACFTech), Certified Cyber Investigator (CCI).I am currently Vice Chairman of the First Forensic Forum (F3) which is a non-profit organisation that is dedicated to providing technical training and knowledge exchange between FTech professionals.
