I am a writer and multimedia content creator, currently focused on creating compelling stories across multiple formats and media alongside physical and digital tools for content creators. In 2016, I co-founded the writing group Cupán Fae, and in 2018 co-founded the small press publishing collective Limit Break Comics.As a Writer:I have been independently publishing my own books since 2012, developing multiple series of genre fiction titles, with a specific focus on Irish folklore and the supernatural. From 2017, I began studies into learning the craft of writing for comics, which utilises general storytelling devices alongside an awareness for the visual elements of the narrative.To date, I have published eight of my own books, including one short story collection, and three comics under Limit Break Comics. With Cupán Fae, I have worked with the group to publish three short story anthologies between October 2018 and July 2019, as a contributing writer, an editor, and production manager, taking responsibility for typesetting and cover design, as well as managing royalty payments to the authors involved in each title. I also created the logo and website for Cupán Fae, to focus the group's efforts under one banner.As a Creator Tool Producer:In October 2019, I launched the prototype of my first deck of cards known as Pocket Prompts. I have made arrangements to take them out of prototype and into production, to serve writers and other storytellers. A second deck and a number of booster packs are planned for 2020. A content marketing strategy is under development for Pocket Prompts to showcase their capacity are creative learning tools alongside their use in beating writers block and creating new stories.Alongside the Pocket Prompts, I have a range of writing and storytelling products in development, to be released from December 2019 onwards. The books and assorted products utilise my knowledge of storytelling and content creation with my skills in the Adobe Creative Suite.An additional set of digital-only products focuses on my enthusiasm for spreadsheets and the ways in which creatives can benefit from simplified tools for better understanding finances and money. Taking what I have learned in two years in the Finance industry, I am in the process of fine-tuning a set of Excel documents and writing easy-to-follow User Guides to assist those who are not literate in Excel.Specialties: Writing, publishing, multimedia content creation, Excel, technical writing.
