• K Contracting is an approximately $6M family run commercial construction company. I joined this company as a new challenge to help grow the business and broaden my professional experience. The business was started 3 years prior and had reached approximately $3M in sales for FY22 prior to me joining. 10 months after I joined, we have grown the business to $9M+.• In day-to-day operations I am responsible for operational management activities covering schedule and budget as well as direct responsibility for 2 superintendents, 1 project coordinator and 1 office admin. My focus is client engagement and satisfaction, business and process optimization, reducing nonvalue activities and maximizing profit.• Implemented sales pipeline reporting, monitoring and optimization to help our team focus on high probability opportunities that fit our target clientele, profit goals and expertise. Utilizing this method, we have zeroed in on gym fit outs and expansions, restaurant fit outs and car wash installs. This has improved our average profit from 18% to 25%.• As part of my role and due to the small team that we operate I am also a fill in superintendent when needed and generally have 1-2 jobs that I run entirely on my own while performing my additional operational management duties.

• VP of Engineering for the Rugged IoT sub-business within Cubic Mission Solutions. Roughly $90M sub-business driving $25M+ profit and 12%-57% growth year over year. Directly responsible for strategic direction and engineering execution of DTech Labs, Vocality, Deltenna and XD product lines. Specializing in power, routing, switching and hosting platforms enabling the war fighter to establish and maintain comms in the most austere environments.• Developed and launched over 35 new products across multiple product lines driving $298M in revenue and $85M in profit over 5 years with the business.• Launched 14 new products in FY19 completely refreshing DTech Labs M3-SE product line and directly responsible for capturing flagship programs driving 150% increase in revenue and profits for the business.• Inventor of the DTech Labs M3X product line which was adopted as the strategic future of the business. Targeted to transform existing military platforms. Winner of the 2017 Innovative Leader of the Year award and awarded two inventor patents. Finalist for the 2018 San Diego Connect Most Innovative Product award. Key aspects of the M3X product line: Integrated FPGA for intelligent power optimization, Patented Raised Angle Connector, Patented Dual Purpose Latch, Intelligent Power Supply and Locking Rail System.

•Lead Multifunctional Project Teams for Short Range 3d Biometric Enrollment and Long Range 3d Facial Recognition product lines with a focus on NPI and Product Lifecycle Management. Responsible for scheduling, resource request and allocation, budget and presenting status to Executive Management.•Technical, Operational and Logistical support lead for 3d Biometric Enrollment and Long Range 3d Facial Recognition product lines containing components and assemblies ranging from lasers and fiber optics to PCBA’s, cameras and range finders. Go to guy for quick turnaround, high visibility tasks and overall product line success.•Manufacturing and Supply Chain lead during times of company transition. Responsible for task assignment, completion, resource allocation, issue tracking and conflict resolution.•Implementation and support of Enterprise software rollouts for new Epicor ERP and Windchill PLM systems. The company lead for Enterprise level software questions/issues, problem solving, training and new process development across multiple departments.•Apply Lean 6sigma Manufacturing principles such as DMAIC, DOE, Kaizen, Gauge R&R, Regression Analysis, Control Chart, Cost Benefit Analysis, Pareto and Value Stream Mapping to improve the overall product quality and consistency.•Support for SPC implementation, establishing metrics, Spec Limits, Control Limits, Cpk, Xbar Charts and tying the analysis into real-time feedback for Manufacturing staff.•Lead interface between Manufacturing/Operations and Design Engineering. TAG is a roughly $25M rugged electronics OEM that designs, develops and manufactures rugged computers, displays and power supplies targeted for the military market.As Director of Engineering I reported directly to the owner/CEO and served as primary technical and operational representative. Directly responsible for 20 person engineering department including Mechanical, Electrical and Systems Engineers as well as Lab Personnel, RMA department and technical writers. Oversaw requirements, schedules, budgets, resources, R&D, testing and new product launch.

Design rack mounted computer equipment, servers, and human machine interfaces (HMI's), as well as hand-held ultra mobile devices (UMD's), large screen displays, rugged laptops, solid state "brick" PC's, smart displays and transit case systems for military market. Thermal analysis using Flotherm of both convection and conduction cooled computer systems. Design to meet and test MIL-STD for shock, vibration, immersion and EMI.

Elevated to team lead and responsible for daily supervision of two mechanical engineers. Designed and tested rugged computer products and rack mount systems for use in marine environments. Focused on repackaging COTS computer equipment to meet MIL-STD for shock, vibration, thermodynamic and EMI. Create and review pricing estimates and ROI's for new products and rack systems.
