Beginning in 4/2013, I have been consulting at Northwest Evaluation Association (http://www.nwea.org/) which does computer-based adaptive testing for students from kindergarten through high school.From 10/2012–3/2013, I consulted at US Bank to build a Spring/Hibernate application hosted on WebSphere to assist with international wire transfers. This is a new application for compliance with the Dodd-Frank Act.

Primary areas of focus: * Supported data acquisition for polled and event based data from several back end systems such as Honeywell's PHD, OSI PI, AspenTech IP.21, Oracle, SQL Server, and EMC Documentum, as well as more generic OPC and JDBC sources. * Worked extensively with point data time-series functionality to include trending, aggregation, and historization. * Implemented multiple retrieval techniques for RDB data. * Collaborated on server development including ongoing maintenance and performance optimization. * Helped design and implement a dynamic tag update mechanism. * Participated in all phases of the development cycle including requirements, specification, design, implementation, and testing. * Provided project management for product updates by coordinating closely with Development, Product Management, and Quality Assurance. * Interfaced directly with Tech Support to provide initial development analysis of problems in order to resolve issues before they needed to be elevated to the rest of the development team. * Assisted Quality Assurance to analyze test issues and coordinate problem resolution.

Configured and utilized backup and recovery tools.
