About Paul Dudney
For more than 25 years I have been leading teams across Australia in the ever evolving retail and trade distribution & wholesale market. During this time I have held senior leadership positions with market leading Australian trade distribution and retail brands, initially witnessing the introduction of big-box retailing through to today's multi- channel environment. As a GM of Operations/COO I have most enjoyed developing and leading large teams (1100 people/240 sites) as well as leading merchandise, buying, sourcing and marketing teams as well in the pursuit of market leading product innovation from sourcing through to winning customer experience. Additionally, I have lead Facilities Management Functions, Store Development Teams, been responsible for Fleet Management (600 vehicles) and various business transformation projects , including an ERP implementation.These industries are all about people, from the customers through to the teams that deliver great experiences. As a strategic, hands-on developer of teams and the products that these bring to market, my cross functional leadership experience gives me useful insight to understand how to connect with customers in different segments and markets.
