Items like boxes, cabinets, furniture and other well executed flat work can bring great prices at charity auctions. This is a means by which I can give back to the community while honing my skills and achieving mastery of this craft.

Life just keeps getting better! On my retirement, I was offered a part-time role at the Iowa City Woodcraft store. I'll be developing woodworking coursework for their new training center, which is expected to open late summer or fall, and working in the store to help other craftspeople make saw dust! Such an exciting opportunity! I'll also be recruiting other woodworkers to support charitable organizations by donating their work for fundraising auctions.
