Leading the transition for eHealth Queensland project teams moving from traditional ways of working to activity based working into the new start-up hub, The Precinct. We are creating an environment that will foster collaboration and bring government closer to working with some exciting start ups and entrepreneurs at Queensland's newest start up hub in TC Beirne building in Chinatown, Fortitude Valley. Dealing with architects, construction crews, technology providers and workplace consultants to design and implement state of the art technology.I am also Agile Coach, Iteration Manager and Change Manager on a number of projects as well as providing agile capability development to teams within eHealth Queensland. Various projects include introducing Wifi into Public Hospitals in Queensland, a virtual desktop solution to the Qld Health Environment providing health professionals technology to support a more streamlined workplace meaning more time for patient care, and introducing the Mobile Device Management solution where Qld Health Staff are able to access the health environment more seamlessly and securely.My focus is to help build awesome teams within eHealth Queensland.

My role included the introduction of Agile into the program to assist in the planning and implementation of daily activities. I worked with each of the Project agencies to introduce Agile principles and practices into a Prince 2 environment and liaised with the Program PMO to ensure governance and assurance activities were addressed whilst using the Agile 'way of working'.I assisted teams in planning, course correction and the initial set up of all Agile practices and coached a number of team members in Iteration Management.

Part of the HRIS Program team with the Public Safety Business Agency implementing the business transformation program of work to deliver sustainable HR/Payroll and HCM service delivery capability for a number of Public Safety Agencies. These Agencies include Qld Ambulance Service, Qld Fire and Emergency Services and Qld Corrections. The program of work will include identifying operational efficiencies through standardised and automated business processes based on self service capability and workflow and improving the strategic HCM capability to support the development, performance and safety of the workforce as well as workforce reporting and analytical capability across the entire employee lifecycle.

Established in the Office of Director-General, I am part of a team of professionals who were engaged to deliver on renewal strategies to support the delivery of the improvements identified in the Blueprint for better healthcare in Queensland. Main activities included the successful delivery of change projects and the alignment of capability, culture, activity and strategy across Qld Health.My main activities included the implementation of information and reporting systems across Health Infrastructure Branch and Contestability.I also introduced the Agile (project management) principles and practices into the Health organisation and coached / mentored various leadership teams and staff across the Department, including clinicians, to engender a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement within their workplaces.

This project focused on leadership coaching and development and implementing the ‘Removing the Blockages’ program designed to work through issues impacting the Suncorp IT business using the Blue Ocean Strategy methodology.
