Responsible for creating and managing a Theatre In Education company, whilst writing & delivering educational materials that cover the national curriculum in order to make Shakespeare accessible through live performance, workshops, e-learning and teaching materials. As an Actor I have a background of professional experience in film, television and theatre. As a Facilitator I am trained in delivering workshops on many topics, I have a strong knowledge of working on both sides of production, both on set/stage and behind the camera and as a director.During my time as an actor I toured the UK and abroad and performed in hundreds of schools and educational settings. Leading a team of freelance actors and the facilitation of workshops, this role demanded consistently high performances, excellent presentation and audience interaction skills.Working with school learners within a variety of subjects improved my ability to adapt teaching styles and taught me the value of patience under pressure as I was running sessions with a whole class of pupils.

May 2008-May 2009 This company produced and delivered training, educational resources and live performances to schools and corporate businesses. My role was to oversee and lead creative preproduction, product design and delivery for their educational and corporate events. I created Educational plays, learning resources, lesson plans and workshops for all key stages in the National Curriculum. With the responsibility for managing clients and researching new markets, as well as scriptwriting, copywriting and directing, this job had a broad and wide ranging remit.
