Directs an organization of 500 people focused on command and control of network operations and defensive cyber operations globally in order to enable Cyber mission assurance for the Department of Defense. Coordinates and synchronizes across 44 different components to develop and implement innovative methods to sustain readiness while simultaneously preserving space for rapid innovation. Enhances resiliency of networks by repelling challenges from adversaries on a daily basis, imposes costs to those who seek to exploit, manipulate, destroy or impede U. S. network enabled capabilities and the data that resides on the network, and operationalizes new and existing concepts and technologies.

Led a diverse organization of 270 personnel in the execution of planning, integrating, synchronizing and directing full spectrum cyber operations to provide assured theater Command, Control and Interoperability. Integrated U.S. Indo-Pacific Command’s CIO processes/initiatives to transform the theater's joint & mission partner info environment. Ensured effective cyber staff relationships with two subunified commands, four components and two direct reporting units.

Developing leaders of character. Reports to the President of the National Defense University (NDU). Responsible for executing the mission to prepare future senior leaders of the National Security Enterprise for high-level policy, command and staff responsibilities. Conducts a rigorous joint, inter-agency, and multi-national senior service course of study with emphasis on national security and resource strategy. Responsible for development and implementation of strategic plan; formulating academic policy; supervising curriculum planning preparation and execution by ensuring excellence in teaching and academic support for delivery of an efficient, effective, high quality, graduate-level academic program. Supervises approximately 400 personnel (75% students and 25% faculty and staff).
