I am highly organised, efficient, personable person who can deliver consistently high results in very challenging and pressured work environments. I have a clear, logical mind with a practical approach to problem solving and a drive to see things through to completion.I have more than 20 years of experience in managing teams across multiple sectors. I am well versed in establishing business requirements, performing gap analysis, designing business processes, and implementing system improvements to increase productivity and reduce costs.I was a Marketing Operations Manager with the brand adidas, working for them for over 20 years in various capacities growing in seniority through on-the-job development, becoming regarded as the subsidiary expert in my area of expertise (SAP development). Following the death of my father, I took the decision to take a career break to look after my mother who had advanced Dementia. This unfortunately coincided with the Covid pandemic which meant I became both carer and teacher to my 2 boys overnight. This goes to further prove that I am very adaptable and resilient with the whole experience helping me discover a new set of positive skills.Last year my mother passed away and I decided to explore a new career direction and retrained as an HGV driver, to follow in my father’s footsteps. I currently work in the HGV industry with the qualifications to drive Class 1 and Class 2 trucks, I am also qualified to transport toxic materials (ADR), no easy feat. Whilst I am excelling in this industry, I have quickly realised that this isn’t the industry for me, and my heart lies in the business sector.This temporary change in career direction has reinforced the capabilities I pride myself on; I can apply myself to anything and get great results, I learn quickly, can communicate, and collaborate effectively with people from all backgrounds whilst adapting to different circumstances, all while maintaining a positive attitude that rubs off on others. I would be a great fit within any team.
