This role is within the sample studio creating patterns and pre-production samples for overseas manufacture of womenswear styles for multiple seasonal collections.-Collaborating with 2 senior pattern cutters to create manual and digital patterns for womenswear softs, tailoring and bridal collections-Attending daily fit sessions and taking accurate notes for pattern amendments and updating PLM system -Managing workflow for 2 sample machinists and providing construction methods for technical team and BOM-Communicating with production teams in Asia to provide patterns, samples and consumptions in order to meet project deadlines-Responsible for purchasing within the studio and managing expenses with finance team-Managing stockroom and arranging moves to warehouseResponsible for ordering sample materials and trims and updating tech packs with construction information

-Creating 3 made-to-measure dress patterns and toiles for a children’s dancewear designer and providing creative solutions for technical designs for final design

-Responsible for overseeing recruitment and sales of 2 London stores and online store for an independent British clothing brand-Selecting clothing and lifestyle brands and attending buying appointments to add to overall store offering

- Consulting with clients by appointment to create bespoke clothing- Working with fashion studio and attending fit appointments- Communicating between clients, studio and production to create design vision- Fabric research and purchasing including attending Premiere Vision- Collaborating with marketing team to envisage artistic direction of styling and photoshoots

-Attending multiple showroom appointments within Paris Fashion Week, meeting with designers and account executives to discuss growth and plan product selection-Communicating with in-house design studio, including pattern cutter and sample machinist to gain technical advice to produce own brand, Nomad Atelier-Developing the seasonal brand selection and buying plan with company directors including managing buying budget
