In 2014 my role at Yorkshire Rubber linings expanded and my title was renamed to “Business Manager” while my role of Quality manager and Health & Safety Manger remained the extra role of Business Manager required me to move the company forwarded in terms of promotion and social media. The first task was to design, build and launch a brand new website for the company that was lanced in 2014, the second task was to bring Yorkshire Rubber Linings in the new age of social media, so our Facebook page and Twitter site was launched. In 2015 I attended a number day courses on social media and learnt a lot on how important social media is for business.

“How did you get into motorsport” is a question I often get asked, it all started some years ago with my passion for motorsport art. After completing a number of painting commissions for teams mainly Porsche teams I decided to launch my own website that I build myself. What started out as a hobby site that has grown into one of the largest independent Porsche Motorsport sites in the World? I and the site soon became noticed and I now can hold the title as an accredited Independent Porsche Motorsport journalist. I have made many friends within the motorsport World and have meet some interesting and famous people on my journeys…what better way to spend your own free time away from work.

“an perfectionist”…I called this a lot maybe this is why I enjoy my role as quality manager at Yorkshire Rubber Linings Ltd after all perfection and quality both go hand-in-hand.I started at YRL in 1999 employed to look after transportI moved up the ranks with a couple of years and took over the role of ISO quality managerI soon took the extra role of Health and safety manger along with the ISO role.In 2004 I was given the task to also manager the workshop so took up the role of production manager while also fulfilling my duties of quality manger and health and safety manger. Also in 2004 my title changed to Business manager in order to drive the company forward introducing new Woking conditions and implementing a new look website and also talking the world of social media…as well has fulfilling my other duties.At the back end of 2004 a new production manager was introduced to the company…this now relived me of one of my duties allowing myself to concentrate on moving the company forward.
