As House Manager of our fraternity house, I oversee the upkeep of the property by negotiating with contractors to fix any broken or damaged areas. I also manage and delegate various tasks that need to be done around the house to ensure it runs smoothly. My goal is to continually improve the living environment for all members, making the house a better place to live and gather.

I plan and coordinate the fraternity events, managing the budget to ensure a successful social calendar. I negotiate with venues and secure performances from artists, creating memorable experiences for our members. In addition, I work to build our relations with other organizations on campus.

During my summer internship, I worked on-site at a large apartment complex build near downtown Houston, gaining hands-on experience with large-scale electrical systems. I supported project managers throughout the construction phase, helping to ensure that all projects met financial targets and timeline goals. My role involved exposure to all aspects of the electrical installations, from the CenterPoint powerline tap to the outlets and light fixtures in individual units.Key activities included installing large transformers, pulling wire, running conduit, installing fixtures, and attending site meetings. I also unloaded deliveries, reviewed Revit drawings, ensured compliance with electrical codes, provided construction progress reports, documented site progress and deliveries, and coordinated using BIM software. By the end of my three months, I had witnessed the concrete pours for six floors.

As an on-site Construction Management Intern at a plant build in Pasadena, Texas, I work directly with the Superintendent and other key stakeholders at our jobsite. I have the unique opportunity to collaborate with the owners, architects, subcontractors, project managers, and fellow Superintendents, gaining valuable hands-on experience in the construction industry. This role serves as an excellent complement to my college major in Construction Management, allowing me to apply my academic knowledge in a real-world setting.

• Supervised a team of six sailing coaches, preparing schedules for each, and coordinating daily tasks to ensure services were provided to the customers of the sailing camps.• Inspected and maintained equipment daily and performed boat repairs on power and sailboats.• Participated in weekly parent meetings to debrief on the sailing progress their kids had made at camp that week.• Managed the Paylocity account for the sailing program.• Either coached from a power boat while the student was in the sailboat or was in the sailboat with the student.
