We are recognised as a leader in the field of automotive connectivity, and provide three main services to a diverse customer group, namely:• connected vehicle and mobility services for auto clubs leveraging both aftermarket and embedded vehicle interfaces.• automotive telematics and other connected vehicle services on behalf of auto manufacturers – with applications ranging from safety/security to mobility and infotainment• digital traffic information services – connecting embedded and portable navigation systems to live content.The Role.The role incorporates the identification of new business opportunities and formulation and execution of sales strategies that will secure new business within targeted business streams particularly, OEM connected vehicle telematics, aftermarket connected vehicle telematics and dynamic traffic content.Supported by other Intelematics internal stakeholders, the Business Development Manager prepares, costs and implements business plans to support sales strategies in each target sector.It also involves substantial input to the business strategic planning processes and to implement the tactical measures necessary to deliver those strategies.The role also incorporates the development and maintenance of connections within the global telematics business community.
