Paul Chatterton is the Lead and Founder of the Landscape Finance Lab, a pioneering global platform dedicated to incubating and financing sustainable landscapes. Established in 2021 as a spin-off from WWF, the Lab drives innovation in landscape solutions through a global network of experts.Paul is a renowned authority in sustainability, climate change, land use, and green finance. His extensive career at WWF includes launching two of the world’s largest forest carbon programs, establishing Europe's longest river protected area and creating the largest rainforest reserve in the Pacific.He is the co-author of "The Little Sustainable Landscape Book" and a co-initiator of Meridia (www.meridia.land), a mobile app designed to provide affordable land tenure to rural communities.Paul has advised prominent organizations including the Climate Bonds Initiative, Gold Standard Foundation, World Economic Forum, EU Sustainable Finance Taxonomy and the Forest Stewardship Council.He holds a Master’s Degree with Merit in Anthropology/Development Studies from Sydney University and a Diploma in Management from IMD Business School in Switzerland.
