Current- Drafted reports and documentation across a wide array of healthcare regulatory disciplines, including all documentation related to the Certificate of Need/Certificate of Public Need (CON/COPN) process, as well as the Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA) process. - Certificate of Need work includes writing dozens of applications across multiple services (fixed and mobile MRI, Cardiac Catheterization, PET, acute care beds and operating rooms, and home health agencies), states (North Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, Florida, and DC), and clients (large hospital systems as well as physician-owned private practices). Also drafted competitive comments in support of and in argument against opposing applications, as well as petitions for adjustments to the state health plan and dozens of speeches given at public hearings in support of the applications above. - Community Health Needs Assessment Work includes the analysis, synthesis, and description of data and findings for health departments representing municipal health departments in Texas and Missouri, as well as a large healthcare system in Texas.- Gathered requirements and data in order to draft Certificate of Need, Community Health Assessment, and other regulatory documentation to meet healthcare system goals and outcomes. - Communicated with health system leadership, including executive leadership, in order to disseminate goals and strategies achieved through various state regulatory processes. Acted as a partner and peer on initiatives to acquire additional technology and resources utilized to provide further care to the patients and communities treated by those health systems and providers.- Interfaced with firm leadership in order to edit and revise documentation and synthesize regulatory documentation arguments efficiently and effectively.
