The role involves:- Defining and scoping business requirements- Reviewing, discussing and developing supplier proposals and designs into workable solutions for HMCTS, using both IaaS and PaaS components on both UKCloud and Azure Infrustructure- Acting as the single point of contact within HMCTS for all technical matters relating to both systems- Co-ordinating suppliers of hosting, application, development and test services- Working with the business change leads to deliver the national roll-out of functional changes to a combined user base of 35,000- Contributing to Invitation to Tender material for publication on G-Cloud and Digital Outcomes and Specialists (DOS)- Taking technical responsibility for all releases into productionPreviously I was developing an open standard for a structured Digital Case File as part of the Criminal Justice System Efficiency programme. Worked with the Crown Prosecution Service Legal advisors and early adopter Police forces to draft the standard in an open form, compliant with existing Home Office Data standards. The role involved:- Technical drafting and publication of the Data standard and supporting documentation using UML modelling and JSON schema.- Aggregation and management of requirements and change requests from multiple stakeholders- Delivery of nationwide Police force briefings to Assistant Chief Constables.- Workshop facilitation with stakeholders from Police, CPS and MoJ.- The set-up and running of a stakeholder implementation group. -
