Managed a busy 10,000 sq ft warehouse. Introduced documented booking in system to ensure multiple daily deliveries and collections were logged and invoiced correctly. Often a physical hands on role which also included maintaining staff levels and workloads in recycling (mostly confidential) products received from a number of sources. (From Supermarkets to Police, Fire and Rescue and MOD). When possible/ time permitting I drove deliveries and collections, sorted received goods, drove Forktruck (c/b lpg) to understand the business. Oversaw loading and prepared paperwork for containers and 40ft taut liners to Europe and world wide.

Due to very sad family circumstances we reluctantly closed our manufacturing business in July 2017. We have continued to merchant some products where customers have struggled or been unable to source items themselves whilst we have sold the machinery and marketed the premises. The statement (posted on our website home page) is as follows: After twenty four years manufacturing packaging, it is with mixed emotions that we have taken a joint family decision to close our family business.The decision to close has not been an easy one, but we feel it is the right one for us, as a family to try to move forward. Whilst as a business Kingpak has a healthy order book and no financial concerns thanks to many years of hard work and investing in our premises and machinery we have recently had some (family) health issues coupled with staff issues which we have not been able to resolve.We would like to thank our customers and suppliers for all of the support they have given us over the years. We have some customers who we have dealt with from day one, and others for decades. It’s unusual to find loyalty like this in a modern competitive commodity based business so we count ourselves privileged to have developed relationships that have gone far beyond simply ‘placing orders’.Thankyou to everybody who has bought from us, supplied us, supported us and helped us over our time in business. We blow the film on extrusion lines and then convert to bags on sideweld and bottom weld converting machinery. We pack into coloured polythene dispenser packs - A Yellow Dispenser being our most popular and recognisable. We supply to the merchant trade and to end users in retail and industrial markets. We also provide an inhouse contract packing service which allows us to fully utilise our factory space and staff.
