I have built a reputation based upon a few negotiating principles for achieving my client's desired results with mutual conduct between myself and the landlord/ seller and its agent: 1) agreement on a set schedule, 2) agreement to race to reasonableness (3,000+ adversaries know that I don't re-trade nor renege), 3) trade the list of issues, 4) solve all issues and deal impediments (an agreement is a result of minor solutions; I never get personal, let ego be an obstruction, never embarrass the opposition) not all solutions are equal, and 5) fearless representation of my client - my ability to recommend a go or stop the presses. What separates lehrer from other service providers is my core value of “no surprises”. I prepare my clients for every scenario – the good, the bad, and the downright ugly. My challenge is to understand my occupier client’s corporate objectives and deliver solutions that align their occupancy plan into their business plan. I am challenged by my land acquirer clients to source the non-traditional locations, disrupt the status quo, discover new ways to solve old problems or change the game entirely. I thrive on experimenting, unorthodox and unpredictable solutions. I think critically and often disruptively, act professionally and lead effectively. The advice and recommendations I make are clear and concise, because the work I do generates real value, helps my clients develop and maintain their competitive advantages, and ultimately contributes fully and measurably to their bottom line.
