I worked in the lab of Dr. Sarah O'Brien to evaluate the predictive power of a standardized bleeding score to diagnose pediatric Type 1 von Willebrand disease. I was funded by a Dorothy M. Bennett and Clark L. Bennett Medical Research Scholarship and an American Society of Hematology Travel Award.

I worked in the lab of Dr. Yitzhak Tor on the design and synthesis of isomorphic fluorescent nucleosides to be used as probes for the structures of nucleic acids.

Audited clinical trials in progress for the Clinical Trials Department. Representative of the Moores Cancer Center at the American College of Radiology Imaging Network (ACRIN) annual national conference in Washington D.C. in September 2007.
