I am a graduate of Colorado School of Mines (CSM) with a major in Mining Engineering and a minor in Explosives Engineering. During my time in Zambia and at NASA, I learned the importance of setting ambitious goals and striving for excellence even in seemingly unreachable endeavors. My experiences at an open pit copper mine in Zambia laid the groundwork for my expertise as a Mining Engineer, while my tenure at NASA honed my skills in open-ended problem-solving and effective cross-disciplinary collaboration to achieve objectives.Beyond my engineering background, I also pursued a path as a Financial Advisor and completed additional courses through Rio Tinto to become a Peer Supporter. This role has allowed me to strengthen relationships with my peers and offer support to those in need. I firmly believe that people are a company's most valuable asset, and prioritizing their well-being is crucial.Looking ahead, I am driven by the ambition to explore international opportunities in the mining industry. I am eager to further develop my knowledge in explosives, mineral scheduling & processing, finance, mine management, and both short and long-term mine planning. By continuously expanding my expertise, I aim to contribute significantly to the growth and success of mining projects worldwide.
