I am a company director and Head of Sales and NPD at Moran’s Wood Components Ltd.Moran’s Wood Components is a manufacturing business producing bespoke wooden products for a range of industries, specialising in the luxury packaging and premium presentation sector and the restaurant, pub and bar industry. My primary role is to work directly with end-users and design agencies to develop concepts, produce prototypes and manufacture high-quality, creative and beautiful wooden products that fulfil customers’ project briefs. I work closely with our team of skilled wood-machinists, spray finishers and engravers in our 35,000 sq ft factory throughout the design and production process to deliver manufactured goods at both high volumes and in smaller batch quantities. I have an in-depth knowledge and understanding of manufacturing processes and the diverse and versatile properties of wood through first-hand experience of working with this sustainable, natural resource for over 15 years. My manufacturing expertise informs and inspires my NPD and design work and enables me to explore options and possibilities for customers working within specific budgets. I enjoy working with end-users, designers, suppliers and colleagues to find innovative, efficient solutions and creative designs to make new and exciting products that enrich multiple industries and anticipate trends.
