With more than 30 years of professional experience, I have developed a versatile career spanning both academia and industry, specializing in Distributed Systems, Software Engineering, and Database Systems. My leadership track record includes over two decades of coordinating R&D projects, where I've thrived at the intersection of innovative technology and practical application. Currently, I serve as a Research Manager at the OCTO division of Dell, leading dynamic global teams in Brazil and the US. Our research focuses on AI/ML, Intelligent Infrastructures, and Quantum Computing, where I am committed to fostering an environment of technical excellence and mentorship.Before joining Dell, I was a professor at prestigious Brazilian Federal Universities, including UFF, UFRJ, UFRN, and UNIRIO, dedicating my efforts to teaching and supervising numerous master's and doctoral theses. My contributions to technology and academia are underpinned by over 200 refereed publications and more than 10 US patents.
