I have more than 20 years of software design and development experience ranging from enterprise software, to social software and games. My first contributions to the field were in advising on the design of XML at the World Wide Web Consortium and writing the XML Handbook. During that period, I helped to popularize the REST Architectural Style and advised organizations how to incorporate it into their web services stack. I have also contributed to the Python language and the Python Software Foundation. Most notably, I contributed key aspects of XML support.When I worked at Salesforce.org, I helped ensure that non-profit and educational solutions scale up to the needs of the world's largest and most impactful NGOs and schools. While there, I invented Snowfakery, the data synthesis tool for complex linked data.More recently, my work has involved applying Machine Learning and Pre-trained AI to healthcare applications and large, complex technical documents.
