I have over 15 years of experience leading diverse teams at smaller manufacturing and technology companies and have steadily risen through the ranks, acquiring greater levels of responsibility. For the past 12 years, I have led the engineering and operations at a small aerospace company that manufactures avionics displays for aircraft simulators. Projects I have managed range from individual prototypes for a customer demonstration needed in less than two weeks to orders of over 100 displays with deliveries stretched out more than a year with the most recent being a full scale single seat air vehicle replica.Working for smaller companies has exposed me to a broad range of business functions. This experience is complemented by a BS in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA. Both degrees have allowed me to capitalize on my analytical, organizational, and problem solving skills. While focusing on leadership and organizational structure during my MBA studies, I further developed my passion for helping organizations improve their efficiency and effectiveness.In addition to employed positions, I have served in various leadership positions and improvement teams of different churches and non-profit organizations. As part of this, I have assisted staff and other leadership in analyzing strengths and weaknesses, developing methods to capitalize on strengths and improve weaker areas, and helping to implement those changes. I have also assisted with adding or reorganizing structure in areas where poor structure existed and have managed budgets of up to $1M.
