I’ve been at Clip since leaving university in 1997. My father started the business so I really feel it’s in my genes and Clip retains many family values, 40 years after the company was founded.I’m passionate about exhibitions and live events. It's such an exciting and energetic industry, working with marketing and sales professionals to help show their brand off at the highest level. I really enjoy working with clients to ensure that even in a crowded exhibition hall, their stand and therefore company brand and values, stand head and shoulders and their competitors'.

My father set up Clip in 1979 so I was very aware of exhibitions and stand design and build projects throughout my childhood, especially when Dad was away for weeks at a time, setting up new distributors and offices around the World. 1997 – I joined Clip from university, working initially with colleagues who were leading exhibition stand design & build projects2005 - appointed Marketing Manager, where I developed and ran the company’s marketing strategy for 3 years2009 - appointed Sales & Marketing Manager for UK , I now set and implement the sales & marketing strategyThe main elements of my current role include:Client contact – I have direct client contact and support my sales team members on client visits regularly, especially to take time to understand clients brands. Dextra Group, Hepco, Scisys, and BIL Group are all clients who I worked with on their first “proper” exhibition and all are now regular exhibitors and Clip clients. Sales Management – I provide direction, mentoring and support to colleagues in the Clip sales and marketing team, providing ideas and guidance about events and exhibitions and contributing ideas. I also liaise with operations and project managers on some of the more innovative client build projects.Marketing Management – I set the marketing strategy to develop and raise the Clip profile and our lead generation activities.Product Development – I’m actively involved in market research and product research, and one of the current product innovations I’m working on is our Reflex range - our tension fabric system.Culture is a big part of what makes Clip special, and I do feel that part of my role is to be a custodian of that culture. It’s very uplifting when clients say they like the family feel of the company, that we are a nice company to work with, and they value the support received.
