Responsibilities: Design team leader, reporting to the department Partner I was responsible for the supervision of an MEP team, client and team liaison, design, project and site management. My role included assisting with the department’s financial control, budget constraints, Client development and marketing, fee bids and monitoring of resources. Main projects: Anglia Polytechnic University (£12m) BREEAM Excellent rating with THERMIE EU funding for low energy design.Marylebone Station concourse Redevelopment (£2m) including new landlord and tenant services packages and site management of contractors. Responsibilities: Member of design team, carrying out various surveys and investigations, production of mechanical services drawings and specifications, technical reports and feasibility studies. During my training I was posted to a number of sites including the Channel Tunnel Terminal building and gained experience through being seconded to Contracting organizations. Main projects: BA World Cargo Centre at Heathrow Airport, design of incoming district heating and cooling services and the MTHW/LTHW heating and VAV systems to the staff business centre (£30m). Repository air conditioning systems, office passive chilled beams and LTHW heating system at Essex Records Office - Essex County Council (£12m). British Embassy, Lithuania.
