I was then added to a team of 5 developers that re-wrote a C#/.NET application, using the .NET Core development framework, using Visual Studio 2019. As a Senior developer I helped maintain and debug issues with the 5 applications we supported. I was also the lead developer running the Fortify code security scans for our team for each quality gate.

I was the state's IBM/Rational ClearCase Administrator for the Commonwealth Office of Technology. The Commonwealth moved all development JAVA, .NET and Mainframe COBOL to ClearCase for our source control tool.

I programmed in JAVA using Web Sphere Studio Application Developer version 4.1, version 5.01 and version 5.1. I was the unofficial IBM Rational ClearCase administrator for the Commonwealth's Development Branch. I was one of 4 web developers currently maintaining over 12 websites and web services. I also developed several Administration websites to be paired with the main websites. These admin websites are security controlled to allow updating of “static” information on the websites dynamically with out having to change code. I was been the lead developer for several web services that were consumed by other websites to display legacy system data on the Internet.

Team lead for KyRenew website admin redesign effort. I helped develop a framework that has been reused for other websites within the state. Helped upgrade the application code from Visual Age for Java version 3.5 to WSAD 4.1. I developed the reporting procedures for the KVIS web interface, to get daily reports to all 120 counties via their old mainframe printers. This is using Crystal Reports 8.5 and Cobol Mainframe programming. I was the main support for the batch process on KVIS. Part of design team for new Kentucky Vehicle Information System (KVIS). I helped to develop an interim application (KyRenew website) to allow Internet access to the old Automated Vehicle Information System (AVIS), which is an IMS Mainframe, legacy system.I provided support for AVIS from 1998 through early 2001. I headed up the changes for the 2001 vehicle valuation process. Responsibilities included assisting in the annual maintenance of the vehicle value assessment process for taxation purposes. Maintain revenue portion of DB2 Boating subsystem. I designed a new Automated Boating Valuation process to replace a 40+ hour manual process. As a SCB Project Leader I handled the administrative duties for approximately 25 Programmers and Analysts on the account.

Provided support for the Kentucky Automated Support Enforcement System (KASES). Responsibilities encompassed the design enhancement and maintenance of the online and batch interface sub systems of the KASES Child Support System, with the Jefferson County child support system. Redesigned system interface between KASES and Kentucky’s new Welfare/AFDC system (KAMES). Led team of programmers on analysis and redesign of the charging process on KASES. Performed analysis and wrote specifications for addition of new child support case type. As a SCB Group Leader I handled the administrative duties for 8 Programmer/Analysts on the project. I have received certification from Pansophic as a TELON programmer. I have also been trained as an instructor to teach the TELON programming environment.

The project was to implement a Personnel qualification tracking system. I worked with the users to determine the requirements for moving and enhancing the Welder Qualification System (WQS) from a Sperry/Univac 1100 to an IBM/IMS System. The scope of the new IBM system was broadened to include qualifications other than those pertaining to welders and was renamed the Personnel Qualifications System (PQS). I was responsible for writing the data conversion programs, and all the batch TELON report programs. I was involved with the project from requirements through delivery. The last six months was spent working in a maintenance group doing assorted programming tasks.
