I provided technical support to our customers in the EMEA region, working in an international and multi-lingual team, specialising in our core ILS products.

I managed the operational side of the library service's IT infrastructure, as well as the Management Information Unit, and the Central Admin Team. This involved liaising with suppliers of library technology including LMS and RFID, and supporting the whole countywide staff team of 400+ with their software and hardware problems, often in collaboration with the ICT department. I trained on new technology, and tested systems when new developments arose. I also maintained a customer service inbox for problems with the library website, and collated our service requirements for liaising with suppliers who build our software, often as a link between the library service and the council's IT department. This role required precise, analytical work - defining our standards, handling complex enquiries between multiple suppliers - but also strong interpersonal skills, maintaining excellent relationships with those clients. I also developed my project management skills, through leading on the eHub integration of library suppliers.I was also part of SCL's Innovators' network and the digital lead for West Midlands SCL.
