Hired in 1992 and progressed through multiple role with increasing scope and sales volume…As National Accounts Manager, developed, closed, and managed national key accounts in the sales of multiple shipping/mailing products, software, and services to retailers and health care facilities throughout the U.S. and Canada. Continued to manage accounts previously developed as RTM, while driving new business development initiatives throughout diverse channels. Partnered with the Vice President of Sales and the marketing team to develop product catalogs, and collaborated with buying groups, retail design, marketing, product packaging design, and supply chain teams to design client plan-o-grams and product layout. Created and pitched products to the company, and optimized sales by working with client teams on product knowledge and presentation.SELECT ACCOMPLISHMENTS:―Increased sales and profitability by introducing more than 700 new items into 38 national office product catalogs.―Secured and managed multiple new national accounts including Office Max, Staples Grand & Toy, Boise, Corporate Express, Office Depot, United Stationers, S.P. Richards, School Specialty, McMaster Carr, Uline, Schwarz, Publix, and over 600 independent dealers.―Maximized brand visibility and market penetration by distributing catalogs for all accounts that included more than 100M units.―Broadened product selection and increased sales margins through strategic product placement within key clients such as Best Buy, Radio Shack, Publix, Food Lion, 7-11, and Safeway.―Opened new markets by working with New Business Development to introduce products to BestBuy, RadioShack, Publix, Food Lion, 7-11 and Safeway.―Served as a Sub-Contractor for 3M, driving sales of shipping and mail supplies throughout international retail channels.
