I worked 28 years at 3M in the fluoropolymers group and then continued working with the same group when Dyneon was formed in 1996. My experience over the whole period included working in R&D, Product Development, Process Development and Application Development. I was instumental in the introduction of and application development of THV Fluoroplastic and its use in low permeation composite rubber hoses. Over the past 15 years, my primary respoonsibility was in developing technology related to Permeation Testing and Compression Stress Relaxation Testing to allow the characterizaion of Dyneon's materials for Automotive Applications.

Provided Automotive End Use Support for Fluoroelastomer Business. Developed Test Methods used to charcterize elastomers for sealing performance using Compression Stress Relaxation Techniques. Developed Permeation Testing Techniques that later became SAE Permeation Test Methods J 2665 and J 2663.
