Working in Azure Database for PostgreSQL Flexible Server (Database as a Service in Azure Cloud):Azure Database for PostgreSQL flexible server is a fully managed database service in Azure.- Designed and developed a system to group replicas into clusters, providing virtual writer and reader endpoints, eliminating the need to change connection strings after geo-failovers. This solution addressed a major customer pain point and significantly improved user satisfaction.-Designed and developed Shared Access Signature Key (SAS) Rotation on Read Replicas.-Enhanced system security by migrating the authentication mechanism from Azure Resource Manager to Flexible Server Resource Provider, shifting from certificate-based authentication to Azure Active Directory.-Designed and developed a system to address capacity problems for the Director service, a custom orchestrator for manageability tasks.

Worked in Azure Arc-enabled PostgreSQL server (On-Premise Azure Product):This is a PostgreSQL database service which is a customer-managed service where it is deployed on any Kubernetes infrastructure of customer choice.- Developed a system to synchronize databases and roles across all nodes of the database service, ensuring consistent and reliable data replication.-Developed customer-facing features that allows users to change PostgreSQL engine settings, custom port configurations, and resource (CPU/memory) allocation based on hardware infrastructure, improving flexibility and performance.-Designed and developed metrics collection system using Telegraf for data collection, InfluxDB for storage and Grafana for visualization, enabling real-time performance monitoring of internal workflows.-Designed and developed delete backups feature for the database service improving storage management.-Implemented support for PostgreSQL extensions like pgaudit and pgpartman, enhancing security auditing and partition management for the database service.

Mario Deals: Mario deal introduces Prime prices throughout the Amazon shopping path for improved customer experience and these are created during the lead up of big events like Prime Day, Black Friday, Cyber Monday etc. This feature allows our business partners to create Mario Deals on Digital + Physical (D+P) bundles.- Designed capability for creating Mario Deals on Digital + Physical bundles (bundle is a combinationof multiple products).- Designed system to inherit Detail Page CX and Pricing of Mario Deals on bundles.Prime Exclusive Deal of The Day (PE DOTD): Prime Exclusive Deals are targeted specific to Prime customers. This feature allows our business partners to create PE DOTD on D+P bundles. - Design and development of a large scale distributed system for showing correct prices in Cart forthe offer selected by customer in Detail Page when bundle is on Prime Exclusive Deal. - Played a key role in the project of Prime Exclusive Deals on bundles in US, UK, DE, JP for Amazon Prime Day 2019. D+P bundles are sold in huge number giving profit in millions of dollars and good conversion rates for digital businesses. D+P Bundles:I worked in Bundles Team to provide a framework to enable bundling of any Digital and Physical item (eg: Echo + Prime membership) with a customer experience at par with other category sold on Amazon.- Played key role in developing Ingestion System to create bundles from Digital and Physical items.
