Responsible for the procurement/sourcing of materials, equipment, and services to support the company's business efforts. Respond to purchase requisitions by defining and justifying the expense. Processes include make/buy assessment, researching opportunities, subcontract estimating, soliciting bids/proposals from new and existing sources, negotiating with sources, securing prices, subcontract administration, supplier diversity management/certification, and cost/schedule/technical responsibility for supplier performance. During a subcontract, responsibilities include monitoring the terms of the subcontract including progress, plans, invoices and payments. Any change orders, modifications or disputes are addressed by the SCA.
