- Thesis Title: Design and Implementation of 802.11 Control API and Experimental Evaluation of Channel Selection Algorithms- Designed and Implemented HTTP based control API on top of open source software access point(hostapd).- hostapd_cli, an open source front ent program to interact with hostapd is redesigned to control the channel via HTTP interface through CSA(Channel Switch Announcement) mechanism.- The control framework has been implemented on the ORBIT testbed which has upto 400 802.11 nodes with specified topology controlled by a logically centralized algorithm running on a server machine.- The performance of WiFi Automatic Channel Selection(ACS), a survey based channel selection algorithm, is compared with alternative graph coloring algorithms including HSum and HMinMax - The experimental results show that the graph coloring algorithms HSum and HMinMax perform better when compared to ACS in terms of overall system throughput.

- Part of Enterprise Application Infrastructure team and was involved in developing plugin for the Intel's Data Analytics Acceleration Library for three different Machine Learning Algorithms - SVD, k-means and SVM.- Generated bench-marking results for Python's Sklearn APIs for the above Machine Learning Algorithms and analyzed the relative complexity of Intel's and Sklearn's APIs.

Part of Android Connectivity team.- ANDSF (Access Network Discovery and Selection Function):- Developed Service Discovery and Policy Handler module to select best available access point. I was also involved in concept testing with Alcatel-Lucent. - Patent Granted #343227: A METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR UPDATING POLICY INFORMATION TO USER EQUIPMENT (UE). Patent recognition award by Samsung HQ (Korea).- Optimized Access Point Selection:- Developed an Android application based on IEEE 802.11r standard which selects best available access point based on parameters like RTT, RSSI etc. - Mobile HotSpot:- Worked on commercialization of Samsung Galaxy S5 and Note 3. Handled application and framework layer issues in Mobile HotSpot and Wi-Fi.
