I believe in having a long term association with any organization that I work with, as it allows me to contribute to the firm as well as grow in my career. Since graduation, I'm associated with Texport Industries Pvt. Ltd (for almost 3 years) which is one of the leaders in apparel manufacturing and exports business.Having worked directly with top-level management and bottom line workforce, I understand the gap that exists in between and how they need to be tackled with patience, clarity, and confidence.Though my role was Industrial Engineering Manager, I involved myself in Operations & Supply chain management department of the company, and closely worked with the Marketing department, Planning department, Merchandisers, Mechanics and technicians, Job work vendors, Washing units, Stores, etc., and coordinated between each other from order allocation to shipment. Once the order was allocated to the unit, it was my responsibility to guarantee on-time delivery of goods to the buyers, by calculating the lead time of each process and studying the entire supply chain.I completed the Lean Six Sigma-Green belt certification so that I could contribute more to the organization. This motivated me to take up special project with self-interest and made some significant improvements in the organization concerning efficiency, productivity, lead time reduction, supply chain.Now that I've understood technicalities of an industry, I have preferred an MBA which I believe, would allow me to take up higher responsible roles and save a bit of the organization's money I would be associated with.
