In my role at ALNF, I coordinate the delivery of the Subtext: Art for Literacy program, which aims to raise the language and literacy skills of school-aged students from refugee- and refugee-like backgrounds through fun and collaborative art experiences, with the aim of building their communication skills and confidence in self-expression. I also support the delivery of the Refugee Action Support and Early Language and Literacy programs, as well as a pilot program aimed at improving literacy outcomes in a remote Aboriginal community in Queensland.

- Supported the Philanthropy & Partnerships and Communications teams in preparation for Refugee Week 2021, and donor outreach. - Collaborated with a client on merchandising logistics at an ASC event for Refugee Week 2021.

- Jointly coordinated the translation of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights into the Rohingya language for the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights.- Supported the Volunteer Manager on administrative duties and towards recruitment outcomes.- Interviewed and conducted inductions for new volunteer recruits on a weekly basis and assisted them throughout the onboarding process.- Proofread and improved the accuracy of the Centre’s Malay translation of its guidelines document for Malay-speaking clients.
