As a Senior Project Engineer, I am in charge of managing and overseeing multi-disciplinary BfD, FEED, and DDE projects for oil/gas stations, refineries, and substations. This includes providing guidance and direction to Engineering leads, Project Engineers, and supporting staff, leading audits and controlling quality and financial and technical aspects of the project. I also handle cost analysis, feasibility evaluations, engineering support for proposal documents, and communication with clients before project execution. In addition, I work with Engineering Specialists to create project plans, schedules and supervise project engineers and monitor budgets and costs. I also facilitate collaboration between various disciplines such as process, mechanical, civil, controls and automation, telecom, electrical, piping, pipelines, technical safety, materials and corrosion, procurement, inspection and site wings.Furthermore, I am responsible for project initiation & closures, resource management, overseeing document control and records management and submitting reports to the client. I also prepare RFQs and negotiate with vendors, and I work to mentor and guide the engineering team. I coordinate with third parties and various stakeholders across multiple projects, and participate in workshops for project management and design, risk management, and commissioning and start-up plans.

As a Head of Electrical & Instrumentation, I was responsible for overseeing the cost estimation and proposal preparation for electrical, instrumentation, and automation systems for WTP/ETP/STP/RO plants and other projects all over globe. I have worked on projects for a variety of industries such as refineries, petro-chemical, chemical, breweries & distilleries, glass, vegetable oil/solvent extraction plants, power plants, pumping stations, and city water distribution systems. In addition, I was involved in creating drawings and documents for the detailed engineering of the entire electrical, instrumentation, and automation systems. My responsibilities included reviewing and approving G.A. drawings, Single line diagrams, schematic drawings, and terminal details submitted by vendors for H.T. Panels, PCCs, MCCs, DCS/PLC Panels and Control Panels. Furthermore, I also managed the approval process for various types of drawings, schedules, and layouts including cable schedules, instrument data sheets, design calculations, and bill of materials, layouts for cables, earthing, lighting, junction boxes, instrumentation, system architecture, input-output lists, logic diagrams, control schematics, wiring diagrams, electrical and pneumatic valves, switches, transmitters, recorders, indicators, and analyzers for level, flow, pressure, temperature, conductivity, pH, and DO.
