• Preparing custom & consignee documents as per terms & conditions, avoiding discrepancies and getting the payments as per the payment terms.• Handling all type of Export- Import LCL & FCL shipment through Sea, Air & Courier shipments.• Check / re-conform ECR & ICCR (Export & Import Compulsory Compliance Requirement ).• Knowledge of Customs In-Bonding and Ex-Bonding Procedure, Knowledge of filling Customs Bonded Warehouse Bill of entry, Customs Ex-bonding bill of entry, Home consumption bill of entry.• Knowledge of ECGC Policy like Apply for yearly Policy, Monthly declaration, Apply for credit limit as per credit amount of buyer, enhancement of ECGC credit limit, file claim in case of non payment by buyer.• Export & Import Quotation liaise and Negotiate with Shipping lines, freight forwarders, transporters, custom clearing agents and other related vendors thereby managing the entire order cycle in the supply chain process efficiently.• DGFT Work :- Issuance / Extension / Redemption / Modification of EPCG / Advance Licenses with DGFT and Customs through consultant.• Knowledge of Utilize Advance Authorization/ EPCG/ RODTEP in both Export & Import shipments.• Arrange Private warehouse to store Import material as per requirement.• Preparing Letter of credit (L/C) drafts as per requirement of buyer and our banking team.• Verify the credibility of Importer & exporter.• Resolving matter of DGFT, Customs, ECGC, Drawback, EGM & IGM etc.• Port visit as and when required.• Coordinating with the Customs / Central Excise to ensure smooth customs clearance of exports & Imports consignments. Coordinating with various inspection agencies for obtaining inspection certificate of export goods.• Defining and implementing improved business processes and procedures for the department thereby ensuring optimum productivity and minimizing errors.

Attending to consignees/Exporters queries relating to status of shipment, arrival/departure of vessels etc.• Coordinating with Banks for Outward & Inward remittance & sending disposal instruction to bank for credit Inward remittance. Liaison with Bank pertaining Exports Bills Closing and uploading E-BRC.• Ensuring proper insurance cover and other documentations for smooth transfer and transportation of cargo from port to factory or warehouse. Controlling all import payment and timely submission of documents to the Bank.
