As Group CFO of the Emmvee Group, my role as part of the senior leadership team is to provide strategic direction to the business for driving business growth, formulating business/investment strategies and financial policies, tap private equity investors and capital market for growth capital, strengthening systems and processes, developing bid strategies to secure projects, overseeing financial performance, developing procurement strategies, finalizing LT debt for new projects, finalizing and negotiating major contracts, investment structures and ensuring efficient management of various SPVs of the Emmvee Group

My responsibilities as part of the senior leadership team encompasses driving business growth, formulating business strategies, developing bid strategies to secure projects, overseeing financial performance, finalizing Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs), Shareholders Agreements (SHAs) and Business Framework Agreements (BFA), finalising LT debt for each project, land procurement and negotiations, finalizing and negotiating major procurement and EPC contracts (including purchase of modules, wind turbines, trackers etc), investment structures and ensuring efficient management of over 21+ Special Purpose Vehicles (SPVs).I meticulously manage quarterly accounts, audits, board/committee meetings, tax audits, transfer pricing audits, and a myriad of other financial matters. My contributions to the Renewable Business have been instrumental in the establishment of over 60+ projects across India, with a total capacity of 1200+ MW.

My responsibilities included a broad spectrum of financial and operational functions, including complete treasury management, loans and investment portfolio, finalisation of quarterly/annual accounts and audit, derivative and swap transactions, management information systems (MIS), product costing and cost control, audit and tax planning, financial evaluations of business proposals, transfer pricing, stock exchange compliances and Board/Audit Committee meetings. Additionally, I oversaw all aspects of the company's insurance matters, supply chain management, procurement, inventory management, investments in new projects, alternative investments, energy and commodity hedging, legal compliances, working capital management, and IT infrastructureMy expertise in international business development proved invaluable in the company's successful establishment of a joint venture (JV) project in China. I played a leading role in preparing the feasibility report, engaging with senior officials from various government agencies, negotiating with raw material and equipment suppliers, bankers, international consultants, port authorities, and arranging financial and legal due diligence.My dedication and expertise were instrumental in the successful formation of the JV company in July 2003

Key responsibilities included the entire accounting function, auditing, tax planning, computerization of accounting and inventory management, management information systems (MIS), stores and inventory management, dispatch planning and warehouse management, raw material procurement and production planning, accounts payable/accounts receivable (AP/AR) control, adherence to various legal compliances, planning and budgeting, cost accounting and cost control, administration, system improvement, working capital management and internal control.Actively participated as member of the core team for an expansion project that tripled plant capacity to 30,000 tons per annum (tpa) and propelled annual turnover from Thai Baht 700 million to over Thai Baht 2,000 million.

Key responsibilities included managing Banking & Finance, Accounts, Audit, Inventory control system, Investment & loan portfolio, Treasury function, Hedging & forward contract, Compliance of all Thai Tax Laws, Board & shareholders meetings, computerization of stores & inventory systems, Project Accounting , Capitalization, Cost control of entire project, Financial projection of the company, Expense control, Working capital facilities with the banks, Administration of the whole project etc.

Major job responsibilities as Executive Asst to Managing Director included designing & implementing MIS, assisting MD in monitoring various critical areas of operation, evaluation of new projects & investment proposals etc, coordination for implementation of various corporate & management policies and apprising the top management of overall status.Additionally, held the position of Commercial Head for the Argon Gas Plant, a self-sustaining profit-generating unit of Indo Gulf Fertilizers, with an investment of Indian Rs. 400 million. Gained profound understanding and practical experience of all operational facets, honed commercial acumen, and managed a diverse range of responsibilities, including Treasury, Finance, Accounts, MIS, Excise, Taxation, Liaison with banks, System development, Audit, Plant performance evaluation etc

Embarked on a fulfilling career in the Main Accounts Group of India's largest public sector conglomerate in July 1989. Responsibilities encompassed a comprehensive range of financial functions, including monthly and annual account preparation, consolidation of accounts with the head office, asset accounting, internal/statutory & tax audits, MIS etc. Additionally, spearheaded special projects aimed at enhancing system efficiency and streamlining operations within the Finance and Accounts department.

Embarked on this challenging journey as Project Head at the inception of one of India's premier manufacturers of Hi-tech Electronic Process Control Devices, assuming comprehensive responsibility for the preparation of Techno-commercial Feasibility Reports, securing Industrial Licenses, arrangement of long/short term financial arrangements, and managing Accounts, Secretarial, and Taxation matters, including Board meetings.
