I am a PhD candidate at the University of Guelph in the Department of Animal Biosciences focused on investigating the elements of protein quality, such as balanced and imbalanced amino acid ratios in diets with high and low protein content, for application with companion animals. My MSc research was focused on the implications of pulse-inclusive diets on canine metabolic and cardiac health, specifically on the development of nutritionally-mediated dilated cardiomyopathy.
