Initially, I developed software for a variety of embedded systems including gaming/wagering, parking and transit ticket vending and blood sample processing. Duties included designing, coding and testing embedded software for x86-based systems.Subsequently, developed and managed the development of an electronic bingo system consisting of hundreds of touchscreen terminals and a QNX-based host. The systems have been installed in many bingo halls in BC. Duties included forming, managing and mentoring an 8-person team to architect, design, code and test both the terminal and host systems.
